THE MASTERPIECE

Some time ago, I read a small story that really taught me a big lesson. Today I want to share it with you. It goes something like this……..

Once a famous artist was given the task of painting a Cathedral. So, he climbed high up and started his work.
After a while, he completed his masterpiece and stepped back to admire his work, little realizing that there wasn’t a parapet wall behind him and if he as much as took even one step backward he would plummet down to his death!!!
His friend was watching him from nearby and he knew that if he shouted a warning, it might just shock his friend into doing something foolish.
So, he grabbed a can of paint and threw the paint all over his masterpiece. Needless to say the masterpiece was totally destroyed.
However, instinctively the artist had jumped forward to save his precious masterpiece and glared at his friend in disgust.
But the friend merely smiled and said, “Thank God, though your masterpiece is ruined, your life is saved my friend.”
It was then that the artist looked back and understood the magnitude of the disaster that could have befallen him!!!
 Have you been in a similar situation as that artist who watched his Masterpiece being ruined before his eyes; and watched helplessly as some of your wonderful plans came crashing down??
 At such times instead of feeling angry or disquieted, we need to understand the fact that this particular plan may not have been the best one for us. It might have ended in a great disaster if it had succeeded.
That is precisely why God did not allow it to succeed.
  God has made a perfect plan for our life and that is the only one that will come to pass;
